Biography
Professor Colin Duncan is a Principal Investigator in the Centre for Reproductive Health at the University of Edinburgh. He is a subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Edinburgh Fertility and Reproductive Endocrine Centre with a special interest in polycystic ovary syndrome, ovulation induction and early pregnancy. He has a long history of researching the molecular physiology of the human corpus luteum. His current research utilises preclinical large animal models of polycystic ovary syndrome where he is examining ways to improve ovarian and metabolic function. He is currently undertaking a project to translate recent therapeutic insights from this model into clinical practice.
